The basic

The total mass of plastic in the Pacific Trash Vortex is estimated at 100 million tons. Such scale can only be eliminated by industrial methods. To begin with, we suggest installing a floating plastic recycling plant (FPRP) in the Pacific Trash Vortex area. We will buy a ten-year-old Panamax, Suezmx, or VLCC tanker, install a plastic recycling line, and produce a wide range of plastic products. It will also be necessary to purchase supply vessels that work with the garbage collection system developed by Boyan Slat, which has shown its technological success. The commercial component of the project is based on the sale of large plastic mats (LPM) to countries that lack territory and practice island construction (Japan, the Philippines, China, Vietnam, and others). As the project grows, we will do the same for the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
