I set up this fundraiser because I find it important to support organizations like The Ocean Cleanup, to get a cleaner and healthier ocean for all! The Ocean Cleanup’s mission is to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic by 2040.

Saturday 3rd Jan While travelling in Thailand early 2026, I experienced the huge amount of trash and polution in the world ocean and decided to help in one way or the other. I knew about the ocean clean up initiative and with the possibility to raise funds in combination with a certain challenge, I will do a coast2coast ride from the atlantic to the mediterian sea crossing the Pyrenees, cycling about 600km and close to 15.000 hm in 5 days.
