🌊💙 Welcome to my birthday fundraiser!
This year for my birthday, I’ve decided to do something a little different. Instead of presents—because let’s be honest, most of them I stop using, or they’re made of plastic and break, creating more garbage and pollution—I would love to use this occasion to help clean up our planet.
I am raising funds to support The Ocean Cleanup, an organization working toward a cleaner, healthier ocean for all. Their mission is to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic by 2040. That’s a goal I truly believe in!

Monday 3rd NovHi everyone, Danai here (Jules’ mama!) 💛
I just wanted to hop on and say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for your donation. Jules was over the moon, not only to reach her goal, but to totally blow past it! I’m so proud of her for wanting to do something meaningful and impactful for her birthday this year.
As parents, we all have those moments where we wonder if we’re doing enough… if our kids are learning what really matters, if they’ll grow into kind, thoughtful humans who care about the world. This experience reminded me that when you lead with love, pay attention, and surround your kids with a community like all of you, they turn out pretty darn wonderful.
The reality is, our world, the land and water that feeds and nourishes us, is stressed and changing. We can’t ignore that. And many of us want different, or at least better, for our kids’ future. So l hope this fundraiser has been a little spark of inspiration, to turn events like birthdays into opportunities of giving... instead of reasons to add piles of plastic to the thrift store or landfill. These small shifts really do matter. Our kids can have impact. And they want to.
