I started this fundraiser to help clean up plastic in the ocean. Plastic pollution impacts everyone, including over 900 species of marine animals, of which 100 are already endangered.  

I will be cleaning up trash myself and raising funds at the same time. Please support me and The Ocean Cleanup by making any donation you can. The more people who know about this, the greater the impact; please share my fundraiser with family and friends.

Equipment Description (Example of River Cleaning Technology)

One of the world's leading technologies for intercepting plastic waste before it reaches the ocean is the Interceptor™ system, developed by The Ocean Cleanup organization. It serves as inspiration for river cleanup projects with a circular economy and community engagement.

How it works (in simple terms):

🚢 Floating barrier directs the waste floating in the river to the equipment.

☀️ 100% solar energy: operates day and night, without additional pollution.

🚀 Conveyor belt collects the waste and transports it to containers.

📦 Storage containers hold the plastic removed from the water.

📲 Intelligent system monitors performance in real time and alerts when the containers are full.

👣 Can be operated with the support of volunteers and local teams, who are actively involved in the process and the correct disposal of waste for recycling or reuse. This type of equipment prevents plastic waste and other debris from reaching the oceans, drastically reducing marine pollution and encouraging circular economy practices in the communities where it is installed.
